Unity: Our King and Savior is at hand

Grace and peace to you, dearly beloved, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us.

Grace and peace to you, dearly beloved, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us.

Beloved, after much prayer and revival among us, we are compelled by the Spirit to write to you with urgency concerning the times we live in. As the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Rome: “The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed” (Romans 13:11). Truly, his words echo across the centuries into our very hearts today.

And our brother Peter, full of wisdom from above, also reminded us not to forget this one thing: that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2 Peter 3:8). What does this mean for us, beloved? That the same call given to the first disciples remains alive to us—the final hour is at hand. Let us not grow dull or careless, for we know not how many moments remain in God’s divine timeline.

We therefore saw it good to share with you these lessons, not from ourselves, but as a gift of grace, so that you may be equipped, strengthened, and ready for the coming of our Lord. Remember His command while He was yet among us in the flesh: “Keep watch.”

As servants of Christ, compelled by the Spirit in love, we do not write to burden you but to assure you that we stand ready to serve you as the Lord gives grace. We are not masters over your faith, but fellow laborers, your brothers and sisters, working together for the joy of your salvation. Let us, therefore, serve one another with humility, love, and zeal.

Therefore, beloved, put away from among you every malice, gossip, pride, and divisive spirit. Cast off jealousy, hypocrisy, selfish ambition, and vain disputes over knowledge. Remember how the scribes and lawyers in the days of our Lord had all the knowledge of the Law yet lacked faith in Christ. Let it not be so among us. For it is by faith alone that we are saved, and that faith will naturally lead to works of love that build up the body of Christ.

This is the Gospel—that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, African nor European, slave nor free, for we are all one in Him. The cross of Christ tears down every wall and unites us in true love.

Beloved, I urge you also to remain alert in the use of technology and the knowledge God has allowed in these last days. For with the rise of artificial intelligence and the swift advancement of global systems, deception will increase. The world is in turmoil—wars, instability, fear, and hopelessness surround us. But we are not as those without hope, for our Lord reigns!

Be mindful, then, how you use these tools. The enemy uses them to divide, to sow pride, to spread confusion. Do not engage in endless debates that only weaken love and quench the Spirit. Instead, use these channels to announce gatherings, to call for prayer, to share encouragement, to comfort the weary, and to proclaim the Gospel of hope.

And to those in the cities, be discerning. Remember the words of our Lord: “When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next” (Matthew 10:23). Be ready to move with wisdom, that the work of the Gospel may not be hindered by the systems of this world.

Finally, beloved, let your love be without pretense. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Encourage one another daily, and let us remain steadfast, for the Lord is at hand.

May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
